The Southampton High School Lady Mariners, who are the Suffolk County Class B basketball champions, will now face the Nassau champs on Thursday for the Long Island title.
The Long Island championship game was originally scheduled for Wednesday at Hofstra University in Hempstead, but with a nor'easter on its way, a decision was made to postpone the game a day.
The game will still take place at Hofstra, beginning at 5 p.m. Admission is $7.
The bus for spectators will leave Southampton High School at 3:15 p.m.
The Lady Mariners won the Long Island Class B championship in 2012, and seek to keep the title.
The girls are also the 2013 Section XI small school champs, after defeating A-qualifier Harborfields.
