Sunday, April 7, marks the start of the 11th annual Hamptons Restaurant Week, in which top-rated restaurants across the East End will offer three-course meals for a prix fixe of $19.95 or $27.95 through April 14.
Sponsored by Long Island Restaurant and Hospitality Group, a division of WordHampton Public Relations, Hamptons Restaurant Week is aimed at getting people out to try new restaurants. More than 50 restaurants are participating this year and 10 are right here in the Southampton area.
Aside from getting to try new restaurants, customers will also have the opportunity to help out two local nonprofit organizations, which will receive a portion of dinner proceeds from participating restaurants.
The organization receiving the donations are Project MOST, which offers an after-school program that provides students academic support, and Edible School Gardens, whose mission is to reconnect children and their families with real food.
