Arrest reports from the Sag Harbor police for the week of Sept. 11 to Sept. 17.

Reckless Driving

• Miles R. Braun, 24, of Water Mill, was arrested Sept. 16 at 2:13 a.m. on Brick Kiln Road and charged with reckless driving and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree, both misdemeanors, and numerous vehicle and traffic violations, according to police. The arrest report states that Braun was speeding and crossing the double yellow line while driving a 2005 Jeep Liberty south on Main Street. When a police officer tried to pull him over, Braun ignored lights and sirens, speeding and turning without signaling multiple times and running several stop signs, the report states. When Braun finally stopped, the officer determined his license was suspended, police said. Braun was processed at police headquarters and released on $300 bail.

Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated

• Russell J. Simmons, 20, of Sag Harbor, was arrested Sept. 14 at 1:52 a.m. on Main Street and charged with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor, and backing up unsafely, a traffic infraction. Police said Simmons was driving a gold 1997 Ford Explorer southbound on Main Street when he made a left onto Washington Street, then backed up onto Main Street and stopped in front of a restaurant. He then walked into the restaurant, despite a police officer telling him to stop, according to the arrest report. The police office then escorted him out of the restaurant and, finding that he was intoxicated, placed him under arrest, the report states.
