The chairwoman of the Sag Harbor Village Zoning Board of Appeals, Gayle Pickering, is giving up her post, citing personal reasons, according to The Sag Harbor Express.
The Express reports that Pickering wrote to Mayor Brian Gilbride on Nov. 20 to inform the village of her intent to resign as of Dec. 31.
Pickering told The Express that she cannot devote enoigh time to the ZBA — of which she has been chairwoman since 2008 — because her architecture practice is thriving and she will be traveling often.
