It's Election Day, and Long Island voters will help decide dozens of races from the federal to the state level.
After polls close at 9 p.m., to help keep locals informed, Patch will update this live results chart through the night with vote tallies from the races, sourcing county elections boards, reports from the field, party numbers and major news sources.

UPDATE: Aside from the national and state races, Republican Ed Romaine beat Democrat Brian Beedenbender in the Brookhaven Town Supervisor race, and Mike Venditto won the special Nassau County Legislature race and will take over the seat formerly help by Peter Schmitt.
